In 2020, voters in the City of Bristol approved a casino referendum. This referendum followed an approved RFI where Hard Rock International was selected as the operator for Bristol. A temporary casino was opened at the former Bristol Mall site in mid-2022 with the full grand opening of Hard Rock Bristol occurring in late 2024.
